Creative Content Consultant – Contract

• Own the development, execution, and optimization of social-first creative across client accounts • Manage day-to-day social content and community engagement while contributing to content strategy, performance insights, and creative recommendations • Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, and Activation partners to elevate how Indie shows up for clients across social platforms • Lead the concepting, scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and images • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines while pushing for fresh, culturally relevant ideas • Partner with Creative and Strategy teams to support social content strategies that align with broader marketing objectives • Monitor engagement and performance metrics, translating insights into clear recommendations and next steps • Own day-to-day community management, including comments, DMs, proactive engagement, and trend participation • Foster authentic audience engagement that strengthens brand affinity and community growth • Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s brand voice and audience, ensuring consistency and authenticity across interactions • Serve as a reliable, client-facing creative partner on assigned accounts, communicating progress, insights, and opportunities • Contribute meaningfully in client meetings, brainstorms, and internal working sessions • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account, Strategy, and Activation teams to ensure integrated execution • Support and contribute to photo and video shoots, including storyboarding, production planning, and on-set assistance • Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple workstreams, flagging risks and proactively solving problems • Stay ahead of social trends, emerging platforms, and creator behaviors, identifying what’s relevant (and what’s not) for each client

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, content creation, or creative marketing (agency experience preferred)
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms, including content formats and performance drivers
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a creative point of view
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  • Proficiency in photo editing tools such as Photoshop
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools to evaluate performance
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients or workstreams
  • Confident communicator who can translate creative ideas and insights clearly to teammates and clients
  • Self-directed, curious, and proactive—comfortable owning work and making recommendations
