As the Director of Content at Gurobi Optimization, you will collaborate with internal experts and external partners to create new written content and enhance existing materials. This role holds significant importance for our business for two primary reasons: 1. Crafting and disseminating top tier written content enables Gurobi to remain the definitive thought leader in mathematical optimization. 2. Up-to-date and captivating written content is vital to engaging prospects and customers across our buyer journey, supporting effective marketing, sales and customer education efforts. This role also owns the global content narrative, public relations alignment, and the systems and measurement required to scale content impact across regions and channels. What will you be doing? Develop, curate, and oversee all written content across diverse marketing channels. Create content for in-person training programs, mathematical programming modeling examples, user case studies, white papers, eBooks, website content, digital marketing materials, and infographics. Collaborate closely with the academic program and Corporate Social Responsibility teams to own content development and external storytelling in these areas. Effectively communicate the business value of optimization and the Gurobi Optimizer through written content. Lead the development of high-impact thought leadership pieces, bylined articles, and analyst-facing narrative documents that shape market perception. Translate executive narrative and Product Marketing positioning into a scalable content framework that guides all storytelling. Own and execute Gurobi’s global content and PR campaign strategy, setting overall direction across regions and PR agencies to ensure consistent, high-impact storytelling aligned with business priorities. Ensure clarity, credibility, and relevance for business and executive audiences while enabling scalable execution. Establish standardized reporting and executive dashboards to assess content performance, content-driven revenue attribution, and PR effectiveness. Lead the design and ongoing evolution of Gurobi’s centralized Content Hub to scale content creation, reuse, and performance globally. Define how flagship content is designed for reuse across channels and formats to maximize reach, consistency, and impact. Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, Academic, and executive stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, launches, and field-facing content. What experience and qualifications should you have?
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in personally leading technical content development initiatives.
- Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a relevant industry or field.
- Experience in the analytics/AI software domain or a background in creating technology-related content is preferred.
