Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months Duties: - Design, implement, and maintain data integration solutions between Operational Technology (OT) systems and IT platforms - Configure and support AVEVA PI System components including PI Interfaces, Connectors, and Integrators - Integrate real-time and historical data from industrial control systems (e.g., power plant systems such as Ovation) into enterprise data environments - Develop and manage data flows across OT and IT ecosystems, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security - Design web-based and cloud-enabled applications that may operate across multiple platforms and software packages - Ensure performance, scalability, and availability of data systems and associated applications - Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational continuity - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, and operations to support system integration initiatives - Maintain documentation for system architecture, data flows, and integration processes - Support compliance with cybersecurity and data governance standards within OT environments Skills: - Strong expertise with AVEVA PI System (PI Interfaces, Connectors, Integrators) - Experience working within Operational Technology (OT) environments, particularly power generation or industrial control systems (e.g., Ovation) - Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and DNP - Solid understanding of system integrations and data flows across IT and OT environments - Experience designing and supporting cloud-based and web-based applications - Knowledge of system performance tuning, scalability, and high availability architectures - Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and attention to detail - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams Experience: - 5+ years of experience in data systems engineering, industrial data integration, or related roles - Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System in production environments - Proven experience integrating OT systems with enterprise IT platforms - Experience working in energy, utilities, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred - Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architectures is a plus Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
