What You Will Do: To service and perform preventative maintenance as required for Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment as may be sold or serviced by the branch. - Perform service and repair work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time. - Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer. - Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure. - Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications. - Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised. - Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner. - Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log. - Maintain good customer relations and customer service - Assist and instruct others in install / service methods. What You Need To Succeed: - HS Diploma or Equivalent is required. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently. - Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License. - Frequently going up and down ladders. - Standing on Concrete several hours a day - Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel or crawl, twisting spine. - Ability to work in various climates. - Ability to work overhead. - Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50-75lbs. - Flexible work schedule is a must: ability to work nights and/or weekends, or On Call as necessary. Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge: - Prior experience servicing automated doors - Prior experience in the Construction Field installing door frames and windows or as a Glazier installing glass window and glass doors - Prior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, or Carpentry fields Why Work for Us? • Function as the primary contact for technicians who are resolving problems in the field • Use your background in automation to resolve unique and complex problems • Continuously mentor and develop skills of coworkers to empower them in performing repairs • Manage onsite resources during repairs and deployments, including both contractors and Ocado employees • Responsible to participate in completion of HW and SW repairs and updates, including oversight of third party contractors • Devise and call out process improvements, propose detailed solutions, develop documentation and manage implementation of changes • Identify, research, diagnose, and troubleshoot solutions to resolve customer issues • Oversee updates to preventative maintenance schedules and repair procedures • Perform duties at ground level requiring frequent kneeling, squatting, crawling, and working in tight or restricted areas. • Act as a resource for engineering, product, service and sales teams when required • Travel to potential customers sites to complete pre-deployment evaluations and communicate findings to stakeholders • Travel to customers sites to complete and supervise either deployment or removal of hardware • Travel between customer sites to complete hardware and software updates as directed by the operations team • Travel to Kindred offices to assist in hardware project design and implementations
• Provide technical expertise and consultancy at customer sites to commission, troubleshoot, engineer, operate, configure and optimize Compressor Control Corporation products and systems at customer sites. • Advise customers on specific, appropriate product usage. • Use independent judgement, knowledge, and expertise to perform Pre-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing. • Test and perform tuning including machinery testing, control loop tuning and troubleshooting within the larger customer process. • Read P&ID’s, Instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and panel layout drawings. • Apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to effectively complete specific projects and tasks. • Perform thermodynamic calculations and analysis of machine performance. • Provide remote technical support, systems engineering support and troubleshooting. • Transfer technology knowledge to Customer operating and engineering staff through training sessions. • Collaborate with departments cross functionally to support the entire Lifecycle of our products and customer experience. • Complete required administrative tasks (expenses, reports, etc.) and aftermarket support. • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Visit customer refineries, chemical plants or fabrication shops for the purpose of assessing the mechanical integrity of the process equipment and verifying conformance to Honeywell UOP, customer and code specifications. • Perform physical inspection requiring climbing up, crawling through and walking on pressure vessels, storage tanks and piping either at the process plant or in fabrication shops. • During plant turnarounds assess equipment condition, issue repair recommendations, verify suitable completion of the repairs, and forecast future repairs or replacement of equipment. • Shop inspections of equipment occur during all stages of fabrication to ensure compliance to UOP Standard Specifications, customer requirements, engineering specifications and all applicable industry codes. • Write reports using UOP’s computer generated forms and effectively present results to the customer at meetings.
