Job Description

Network Administrator

Celestec e.K.

• Design, implementation and operation of network environments based on common systems (e.g., Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, HP Aruba, Cisco) • Management and coordination of external IT service providers in the network area • Organization and execution of assignments abroad for the commissioning and maintenance of networks • Monitoring network availability as well as analyzing and resolving faults • Development and enforcement of network standards in close coordination with the IT team • Supporting and training users on network-related questions • Ongoing maintenance and structured documentation of the network infrastructure • Support and further development of the deployed monitoring tool (e.g., PRTG)

Job Requirements

  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in network administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with the listed network components and vendors
  • Proficient with network monitoring software, ideally PRTG
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Willingness to perform occasional business trips worldwide (max. 10%)
  • Fluent German skills, good English skills
