Job Description

Lead Conflicts Analyst

Husch Blackwell

• Responsible for completing advanced conflict searches and complex projects with limited supervision. • Thorough review of Conflict Results Report to identify true potential conflicts for Intapp Open workflow intake requests and its predecessor system. • Conduct necessary research to determine materiality of potential conflicts when appropriate. • Contact the appropriate attorneys and/or assistants in an effort to clear potential conflicts. • Communicate daily with the Manager regarding resolution of potential conflicts of interest. • Thoroughly document and organize documentation regarding the resolution of potential conflicts of interest. • Maintain telephone and personal contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters. • Track status of outstanding or on-going Work Flow requests. • Review completed conflict packets for accuracy and fully documented processes in a quality assurance capacity. • Assist with clearing potential lateral hires as assigned by Manager. • Support, mentor and train others members of the RM team to accomplish tasks in support of RM program objectives. • Plan, schedule, and assign daily work tasks as needed, including: Assigning responsibility for special projects; Coordinating Manager(s) to arrange for adequate coverage of all areas when staff are absent; assessing need for overtime.

Job Requirements

  • 2‐year degree required; 4‐year degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible related work experience preferred in order to gain the expertise needed to coordinate Firm-wide conflict clearing process.
  • Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis of potential conflict of interest issues.
