System Testing Intern (OLT/Python/AI)

Role Description As a member of the global Functional Test Team, you will participate in: - Manual and automated system testing - AI Agent development for network products Based on your existing skills, experience, and personal interests, the team will provide tailored guidance and hands-on projects, ensuring you work on challenging and meaningful tasks throughout the internship. Internship Duration: - The internship can start immediately upon successful interview - Work 3–5 days per week - The internship period is 6 months or longer Responsibilities: - Perform manual system testing on OLT network devices, including test execution, result analysis, and defect reproduction - Develop and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework to improve test coverage and efficiency - Create and enhance tools that enable the automation test framework to run on Bamboo and JIRA, and continuously improve test efficiency - Maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Smoke Testing for EXOS ONT products - Develop automation scripts to improve the automation rate of software features - Collaborate closely with senior engineers to set up test beds, execute test cases, and understand system-level test design - Track, document, and follow up on defects and tickets discovered during testing - Explore and participate in new testing technologies and methods, including intelligent and AI-assisted testing initiatives Qualifications - Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating in 2027 or 2028 - Available for an internship lasting 6 months or longer - Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Basic knowledge of telecommunication protocols such as TCP/IP - Good knowledge of Linux - Strong interest in software testing and a clear willingness to learn new technologies - Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualification - Experience with Python, Java, data structures, or test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework) - Interest or hands-on experience in AI Agent development, such as: - Using AI/LLM-based tools to assist testing or automation - Scripting or prototyping intelligent test agents - Basic understanding of machine learning or AI-driven workflows (experience not required, interest preferred) - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Self-motivated, persistent, fast learner, and a strong team player with innovative ideas - Able to learn quickly with minimal mentoring Allowance - 200-280 RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
