• You plan and operate a highly available network for a nationwide retail infrastructure • You deploy a complete WLAN environment with NAC and 802.1X at an energy utility • You support the migration to an SD-WAN-based network using Cisco Viptela or Fortinet • You analyze network stack incidents for an internationally operating manufacturing company • Design, transformation and operation of complex WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructures • Migrations & rollouts — from traditional networks to SDN approaches • Troubleshooting & log analysis — you identify bottlenecks before they become problems • Incident, change & problem management according to ITIL standards • Design & documentation of sophisticated network architectures, SOPs and operating models • Consulting on new technologies, including vendor comparisons & roadmapping • (Partial) project responsibility — if you want.
Job Requirements
- WAN: Routing, MPLS, IPsec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- LAN: Switching, VLAN & trunking (802.1Q), port security (802.1X), STP, CDP/LLDP
- WLAN: WPA2 & WPA3, WLAN controllers, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, WiFi 6
- VPN: IPsec, IKEv1/v2, TLS-based VPNs, remote access concepts
- Troubleshooting & analysis: e.g., with Wireshark, tcpdump, Packet Tracer
- Protocols & tools: REST APIs, SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, YAML, JSON, Postman
- German (at least C1) and English (at least B1/B2)
