Role Description We are looking for a Legal Counsel who combines hands-on operational judgment with strong grounding in corporate and media-tech law. You will support everything from contract execution to company governance, marketing compliance, IP strategy, and international expansion. This role is central to keeping Infomediji aligned, protected, and fast as we scale. You will work directly with the founder and leadership team on high-impact areas that shape how we operate and grow. You will provide legal support for our day-to-day business operations, as well as guiding copyright, trademarks, marketing compliance, partnerships, and international regulations. This is a rare opportunity to build the legal foundation of a fast-scaling media-tech company. What You Will Do - Advise on content-related legal and regulatory matters, including platform liability, distribution rules, and jurisdiction-specific restrictions. - Review and support compliance of user-generated and partner content with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. - Handle copyright and IP matters, including licensing structures, rights verification, takedown requests, and dispute resolution. - Support Trust & Safety and Compliance teams in defining and enforcing content standards and escalation procedures. - Draft, review, and maintain content-related agreements, including creator, studio, and licensing contracts. - Advise on regulatory requirements affecting online platforms, digital content distribution, and international operations. - Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting content moderation, adult content, digital services, and platform responsibility. - Support internal investigations, audits, and regulatory inquiries related to content or platform compliance. - Maintain clear legal documentation, guidelines, and internal training materials related to content compliance. - Coordinate with external legal advisors where jurisdiction-specific expertise is required. - Contribute best practices and key findings to the company’s knowledge base. - Corporate and employment-related legal matters. - Finance and billing regulation (payment providers, banks, electronic money institutions) as a bonus area. Qualifications - Experience as Legal Counsel or in-house attorney in tech, media, entertainment, or consumer digital businesses. - Strong knowledge of IP, digital content rules, and employment basics. - Ability to translate legal complexity into simple, practical decisions. - Comfortable in a high-speed environment where ownership matters more than hierarchy. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, content, product, and ops. - A mindset that values clarity, accountability, and momentum.
