Role Description This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, customer-focused, outdoor working environment. The Field Service Representative (FSR) is a remote position, responsible for creating their own schedule and working from home when not in the field. The FSR provides industry-leading technical and customer support to CCM’s Commercial Roofing customer base. This role manages warranty inspections, job-site training, warranty claim investigations, product support, and the preparation of internal and external reports. The FSR services a regional territory to ensure high-quality installation of Carlisle Construction Materials products through education, demonstration, and hands-on support. This position typically operates Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work and travel as business needs require. Duties and Responsibilities - Understand and adhere to CCM and project-specific health and safety policies. - Schedule and complete final inspections for warranty issuance for Authorized Applicators. - Provide on-site technical assistance before, during, or after installation of warranted projects. - Educate and promote proper installation of CCM products and roofing systems. - Serve as the day-to-day technical expert within the assigned territory, providing timely and effective support to customers. - Conduct warranty claim and product investigations as required. - Deliver training presentations and hands-on demonstrations for new and existing Authorized Applicators to promote quality installations. - Build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships. - Prepare detailed written reports and correspondence for internal and external distribution. - Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Professional, positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Clear, confident verbal and written communication abilities. - Commercial roofing or general construction experience preferred but not required; CCM provides extensive onboarding and technical training. - Ability to understand construction-related terminology, documents, tools, products, and installation practices. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess both specific issues and overall project conditions. - Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office applications and CCM-specific software and hardware systems. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of three (3) years of construction or commercial roofing-related experience. - Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy. - Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. - Previous roofing or construction experience (including internships or summer work) preferred. Working Conditions - Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wet environments. - Frequent travel by air and motor vehicle, depending on assigned territory. - Overnight travel required based on territory size and business demand. - Regular presence on active construction sites.
