Role Description We are looking for a Staff Researcher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced UX Researcher, who can implement a range of methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative. - Qualitative methods: moderated usability testing, interviews, field research - Quantitative methods: surveys, moderated usability testing, click tests, card sorts As a researcher, they will work with the research team, designers, product, and more to perform research from discovery to post-production that enables stakeholders to make more informed, confident decisions and ultimately deliver the best possible product experiences for our clients. They will also be expected to plan, lead, and champion UX Research projects. You will be applying your skills and experience to generate and leverage a variety of research methods, testing, metrics, and insights to ensure design and product direction is based firmly on a solid foundation of research. - Proactively identify research opportunities with the highest potential for customer and business impact. - Independently develop and run research studies from beginning to end: - Identifying the right research questions - Determining & developing the participant sample and screeners - Designing the study - Executing with attention to detail and quality - Analyzing, synthesizing, and delivering results - Conduct research pulling from a wide variety of qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods. - Present actionable insights and recommendations to multiple teams and leaders across the organization. - Create artifacts, educational tools, experiences, and processes that help build and evangelize UX Research within the larger organization. - Plan and deliver multi-phased research projects within budget, timeline, and project requirements. - Help develop and build the research team at Intapp, contributing to the community, providing support to other team members, leveraging your strengths to help others grow, and being willing to learn and grow as a researcher. - Proactive in communicating and managing stakeholders remotely and in various time-zones. Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity. • Be the key driver of the Immersive One platform research strategy, unifying products, personas, and complex workflows. • Run mixed-method research at product pace: interviews, usability/task testing, concept and prototype evaluation, tree tests, card sorts, surveys, and longitudinal work when it’s the right tool. • Transform raw qualitative and quantitative data into high-impact, compelling strategic narratives that decisively influence roadmaps, prioritisation, and major investment decisions. • Bridge the gap between grand research vision and immediate execution, translating multi-quarter platform blueprints into actionable, high-impact outcomes. • Architect research frameworks, playbooks, and enablement practices that multiply research effectiveness and elevate organizational maturity. • Weave together research, analytics, user feedback, and market signals into cohesive strategic narratives • Establish a repeatable learning engine: intake/prioritisation, cadence (e.g. weekly/fortnightly testing), synthesis rituals, and an insight repository that’s easy to reuse. • Coach designers and PMs on lightweight research techniques and evidence-based decision making.
