Role Description The Regional Training Nurse coordinates orientation and training for new nurses along with any retraining of nurses as needed. Qualifications - Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. Preferred - bachelor’s degree in nursing. - Three (3) years’ experience of patient care skills in hospice and knowledge of EMR. Preferred - Two (2) years’ experience as an educator in a healthcare environment, including orientation for new nurses. - Demonstrated ability to utilize the principles, methodologies and practices of adult education, instructional design, evaluation, and research. Computer literacy required. - Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills for program coordination. - Demonstrated ability to use a variety of presentation skills and education and facilitation techniques.
