Web QA Engineer

• Perform manual and exploratory testing of the web application • Conduct API testing and validate request-response flows, error handling, and business logic • Analyze Sentry logs and monitoring data to identify, classify, and reproduce production issues • Verify backend behavior, including validation of running processes and background jobs • Test integration between the web frontend and the locally downloaded core processing library • Validate correct execution of local image processing tasks initiated from the browser • Perform enhanced testing of the core library responsible for applying photo effects • Design and maintain automated tests for critical user flows, API endpoints, and integration scenarios • Contribute to building and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing • Integrate automated checks into CI pipelines to ensure stable and repeatable validation • Leverage AI-assisted tools and agents for log analysis and anomaly detection • Propose improvements in test coverage using data-driven and AI-assisted approaches • Collaborate closely with developers to isolate and troubleshoot cross-layer issues • Create and maintain structured test documentation and automation coverage reports • Participate in release readiness and production validation • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and quality standards

Job Requirements

  • Experience in testing web applications, including frontend and backend components
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
  • Experience with test automation frameworks for web and/or API testing
  • Basic to intermediate programming skills for automation, such as JavaScript, Python, or similar
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
  • Experience analyzing logs and monitoring tools such as Sentry
  • Understanding of backend processes, distributed systems, and browser-to-local interactions
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to investigate multi-component issues
  • Interest in AI-driven testing approaches and automation optimization
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Intermediate or higher level of English
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
