• Monitor and manage the coordination, planning, and execution of projects, focusing on engineering documentation such as LLD, NDD, DCN designs, Link Diagrams, and ATP documents • Translate high-level designs into detailed engineering designs in collaboration with systems engineers • Lead communication and acceptance test with end user • Lead complex Network deployment or Reconfiguration • Support field service technicians and site leads in achieving engineering objectives related to deployment (installation, Commissioning, and integration) • Interface directly with customers to deliver engineering designs and provide technical solutions, including synchronization and network design • Make informed decisions impacting project scheduling, planning, and deliverables to ensure timely completion • Resolve technical challenges and escalate issues when necessary, acting as the first point of escalation for field service technicians • Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical documentation in all project phases

Job Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge in optical transmission systems (submarine, long haul, metro, DCI)
  • Control plane networks (L-0 and L-1), OTN, SDH, Ethernet technology
  • 5 years experience in field service engineering, particularly with telecommunications and networking equipment
  • Proficiency in hardware installations and troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Familiarity with network management systems and related tools
  • Hands-on experience with submarine, DWDM/OTN links integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing
