Logging While Drilling Engineer

Baker Hughes

• Providing real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters in order to complete operations in a safe and efficient manner • Collecting and ensure both surface and down-hole data is stored in the database and preparing required deliverables • Participating in managing the job cycle activities to proactively impact service delivery • Mentoring junior engineers on raising the competencies by developing specific processes and procedures • Providing technical support for the assigned product portfolio and associated software when required • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, code of conduct and compliance requirements

Job Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor studies in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Drilling Services (previous Baker Hughes experience preferred)
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule
  • Solid background and knowledge across a broad range of down-hole drilling, evaluation tools and services
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze and solve technical issues, coupled with a process oriented working style
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written in English.

Job Summary: In this role, the BIM MEP Specialist plays a pivotal part in leveraging BIM technology to connect professionals across the AEC industry.
