Public Affairs Manager

• Support the execution of public affairs and advocacy initiatives, including content development, coordination, and rollout • Translate education research and polling data into clear, compelling summaries, graphics, blog posts, and briefing materials • Assist with the preparation, launch, and promotion of research reports and policy insights • Draft, edit, and proofread external facing content, including blogs, newsletters, reports, social media copy, and digital assets • Manage and grow organizational social media presence across multiple platforms • Support media relations efforts, including drafting press materials, background memos, talking points, and briefing documents • Collaborate with communications and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels • Provide logistical and project management support for cross team public affairs initiatives • Manage multiple concurrent projects while adapting to shifting priorities • Participate in limited travel for team meetings or conferences, as needed
Job Requirements

- 5–7 years of experience in public affairs, advocacy, polling/research, government affairs, legislative work, political campaigns, or related fields
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with close attention to detail
- Experience managing social media for an advocacy organization, nonprofit, or campaign
- Demonstrated ability to create visual or graphic materials for external audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- High level of professional judgment, discretion, and integrity
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment

Role Description The Behavioral Health Case Manager is responsible for performing case management telephonically within the scope of licensure for members with behavioral health and substance abuse disorder needs. - Carries a caseload of adult and adolescent members with BH, ED, and SUD needs. - Makes daily outbound calls to enroll members (from a queue) and to keep members engaged. - Takes inbound calls from members to assist with needs/resources or returning outbound calls. - Uses appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs. - Conducts assessments to identify individual needs and develops care plans to address objectives and goals as identified during assessment. - Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of care plan and modifies plan as needed. - Supports member access to appropriate quality and cost-effective care. - Coordinates with internal and external resources to meet identified needs of the members and collaborates with providers. Qualifications - Requires MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing. - Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in social work counseling with a broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse disorder treatment. - Current active unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States required. Requirements - Experience in case management and telephonic and/or in-person coaching with members with a broad range of complex psychiatric/substance abuse and/or medical disorders preferred.
