Email Marketing Strategist

• Run the monthly email calendar across DTC and Amazon, planning campaigns, flows, launches, and seasonal moments weeks in advance • Translate founder direction on launches, themes, and sales periods into clear, actionable briefs for the agency • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the email marketing agency, including reviews, approvals, deadlines, and exception conversations when work needs to be redone • Review and refine agency-drafted copy in Figma , sharpening hooks, CTAs, and structure with clear reasoning behind every change • Own segmentation strategy and audience logic across the welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back flows • Make and defend technical send decisions in Klaviyo , including dynamic fields, send times, properties, and A/B test setups • Partner with the COO on Amazon-side strategy, extending his briefs into executed sends and managing the back-and-forth with the agency • Bring analytical reasoning to every recommendation, pulling and assessing performance data each cycle, surfacing what's working and what isn't, and feeding that back into the next brief • Bring brand and creative judgment to design reviews, flagging anything off-brand or weak before it ships
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of email marketing experience at a DTC brand or email-focused agency, ideally with exposure to both sides of the table
- Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo for reviews, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis (you don't need to build flows from scratch, but you should be comfortable inside the platform)
- Experience reviewing creative in Figma and giving clear, specific feedback that improves the work
- Strong written communication, especially in writing briefs and editing copy that's already been drafted
- Comfort managing an external agency or vendor relationship, including the harder conversations around quality and timelines
- Solid analytical instinct. you can look at open rates, CTR, and revenue and form a point of view about what to change
- DTC e-commerce experience required, Amazon and supplement/health brand exposure is a strong plus
- Comfortable working at the early stage of an email program where the operating rhythm is still being built
