Security Operations Manager
Everbridge
• Lead and oversee the daily global operations of the Security Operations Department, ensuring seamless delivery of security services including Secure Journey Management (SJM), Security Assistance, Consultancy, and Special Projects. • Provide operational oversight and quality assurance for complex, multi-country and high-risk assignments, ensuring consistent adherence to Everbridge’s protocols, client standards, and operational excellence. • Act as deputy to the Head of Global Security Operations, providing leadership continuity and guidance to the team on operational priorities and escalation management. • Drive a proactive, intelligence-led operational culture that integrates real-time risk data and situational awareness into security decision-making. • Serve as a senior point of contact for strategic clients, leading operational calls, consultations, and post-incident reviews. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, service quality, and rapid responsiveness during critical events. • Contribute to RFP responses, client reporting, and investigation of service-related complaints. • Oversee vendor management, ensuring global partner compliance with Everbridge’s rigorous due diligence, licensing, and insurance standards. • Identify, vet, and onboard new regional vendors in alignment with operational growth and evolving geographic demand. • Ensure all operational planning, risk assessment, and delivery align with Everbridge’s intelligence-led methodology and corporate protection framework. • Review and approve high-value and high-risk tasking, ensuring proportionate resource deployment and risk mitigation. • Oversee 24/7 operational response readiness, including crisis response, incident escalation, and client communication. • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for security assistance operations. • Work closely with the Intelligence and Risk teams to align security operations with live incident alerts, global risk developments, and client exposure. • Lead the coordination of large-scale, complex security operations, including multi-destination travel programs, corporate events, and emergency evacuations. • Manage a portfolio of security consultancy projects, such as site risk assessments, protective security programs, and crisis management planning. • Oversee operational reporting, analytics, and trend analysis to inform leadership decision-making and continuous improvement. • Support training and mentoring of Security Operations Managers and Associates in Everbridge systems (SFHC, SFDC), project management, and client service delivery. • Ensure full compliance with internal processes, including financial accuracy (quotations, purchase orders, invoicing), documentation, and Salesforce data integrity. • Oversee operational audits, PO reconciliations, and departmental performance metrics to maintain service excellence and profitability. • Support continuous improvement of policies, SOPs, and workflows to enhance efficiency, risk control, and scalability. • Champion change management across the department, ensuring seamless transitions and staff readiness. • Promote Everbridge’s commitment to ethical conduct, data protection, and professional standards in all operational engagements.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience in security operations or critical event management.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate security, travel risk management, and crisis response practices.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capabilities (budgeting, quotations, vendor invoicing).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, vendors, and senior stakeholders across time zones and cultures.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities, and make rapid, risk-informed decisions.
- Cultural sensitivity and global awareness in operational contexts.
- This role may require occasional travel and flexibility in working hours to support global operations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate security operations, crisis management, or related field.
- Proven experience managing global security projects and operational teams.
- Strong understanding of travel risk management and secure journey operations.
