Software Engineer L3
Twilio
• Build and maintain multiple compliance program workflows, carrier/ecosystem integrations and customer interactions in the Compliance domain. • Design and develop elegant and scalable solutions across a wide variety of compliance program types including frontend UI experiences and backend APIs, that are highly available and responsive. You will work through ambiguity, deliver quickly and with a high quality. • Build towards achieving the next generation of architecture vision that empowers expansion of Compliance programs. • Interact cross functionally across engineering teams within Twilio to align and build the product and architecture vision.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience and a strong fundamental knowledge of software development using JVM languages.
- Experience building web services incorporating best practices for external systems integration, including defensive and hardened approaches to mitigate downstream issues.
- Experience working with highly scalable APIs, high volume data pipelines and large distributed systems.
- Maintaining and operating cloud services.
- An unwillingness to settle for “good enough”, instead staying focused on longevity through well-tested code and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to seeking diverse viewpoints and acting with intention to create an inclusive team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write down and present designs and decisions throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with engineering and non-engineering roles.
