• Act as a Strategic Partner: Join weekly meetings and partner directly with Sales leaders to understand their focus areas and get embedded in the team. • Monitor Performance and Share Insights with Sales Leadership: Review sales performance data and trends weekly and share with sales leaders and managers to direct focus and sales strategies. • Monitor Performance and Share Insights with Senior Leadership: Analyze and communicate larger sales performance trends, strategic insights, and forecasts to leadership, managers, and other stakeholders on a monthly basis to drive the overall success of the Sales Department. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Drive Profitability: Be the bridge between the Sales Department and other functions in the business to effectively collaborate on key initiatives that drive the business forward including Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Analytics, and the Executive Leadership Team. • Manage and Optimize the Sales Pipeline: Analyze the health and progression of the sales pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and ensure effective lead management. Evaluate the performance of various sales channels and partnerships to recommend optimization strategies. • Support Test and Learn Initiatives: Support sales pilot programs (e.g., new sales strategies, tools, incentive plans) from a testing and data perspective to draw data-backed conclusions on their effectiveness. • Administer Compensation and Awards Plans: Update Presidents Club Leaderboard; compile and submit monthly incentives and sales contest compensation. • Administer CRM Systems: Update Salesforce as needed to support the Sales team. • Perform Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform in-depth sales analysis and leverage findings to optimize sales effectiveness, productivity, and overall business performance. • Build Comprehensive Tableau and Salesforce Dashboards: In partnership with Sales Leadership and Analytics, build comprehensive dashboards that deliver actionable insights and drive business impact.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales analysis, sales operations, consulting, finance, or a related analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested IF statements, index match, etc.), PowerPoint, and other related tools.
- Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce Admin Certification preferred).
- Proficient with common analytics tools and BI tools such as Tableau (Tableau Certification and SQL experience preferred).
- Experience evaluating unique problems, collaboratively creating solutions, drafting project plans and delivering effective new business processes.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter, confident, with strong attention to detail and an ability to apply your analytical mind to solving problems.
