• Conduct assessments of BI developments on AWS to prepare for migration to GCP. • Work directly on migrating, building, and evolving data pipelines using dbt (ELT). • Develop and maintain DAGs in Airflow for process orchestration. • Work with BigQuery to create, optimize, and maintain analytical tables. • Actively participate in migrating ETL processes from AWS to GCP. • Apply versioning best practices with GitLab, including merge flows and production deployments. • Ensure data quality, traceability, and reliability. • Work in a consultative manner, proposing improvements to data architecture and processes. • Interact with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Analytics, Business, and IT).
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in BI / Data Analytics projects.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, especially BigQuery.
- Experience with ELT in Google BigQuery using dbt (incremental models, macros, tests, documentation, and best practices).
- Experience with data orchestration using Airflow.
- Familiarity with GitLab (version control, merge requests, deployments).
- Experience in analytical/dimensional data modeling.
- Previous involvement in cloud migration projects (AWS → GCP).
- Hands-on profile with the autonomy to operate in complex environments.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with ELT on AWS Redshift using dbt (incremental models, macros, tests, documentation, and best practices).
- Experience in data transformation and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Metabase, etc.).
- Experience with Data Governance (e.g., DataPlex).

JOB SUMMARY VBC Analytics is a single, independent team covering BSW Health and Quality Alliance (ACO) analytical needs. Domain verticals connect directly to core stakeholders and operational structures while aligning with internal SMEs and current capacities. We have over 1.2 million lives across multiple blocks of business and industry-leading analytics to support our organization. We are seeking a customer-facing Analyst who works closely with key business stakeholders within the value-based care team. As a crucial member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for transforming complex healthcare data into insightful and actionable insights or visualizations. This role will operate in two capacities; to augment existing data products, as well as innovate new analytic experiences that simplify data into insights. The pay range for this position is $28.52/hour (entry level qualifications) - $42.79/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience. Responsibility includes a combination of: - Handle ad-hoc analysis of quality measures to analyze trends, performance (20%) - Leverage medical and pharmaceutical claims and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data with Snowflake SQL to measure financial impact (15%) - Support enterprise data governance initiatives by implementing data quality rules, validations, and monitoring tools to ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and consistency of analytical datasets.
