Deal Desk Analyst

Veeam Software

• Support non-standard deal requests by reviewing pricing, licensing, and commercial terms for accuracy and compliance • Manage deal workflows and facilitate approvals across sales, finance, legal, and leadership teams • Collaborate with sales leadership to optimize margins and ensure appropriate discounting through structured processes • Analyze deal components to identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement • Maintain accurate deal data and generate reports on discount trends and deal performance • Train and support sales teams on tools, processes, and policies related to non-standard quoting • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on deal strategy and support informed decision-making

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in deal desk, finance, sales operations, or a related field in a technology environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex deal scenarios and make data-driven recommendations
  • Experience working with Salesforce and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex transactional work
