Job Description

Lead Business Development Manager – Cloud & Software, Banking & Insurance

• Take on a central role in strategically expanding the business within defined customer segments of the Financial Services industry • Identify and develop new leads and opportunities • Increase revenue, pipeline and win rate in proposals and bids • Position the technology portfolio with decision-makers up to C-level • Win strategic projects to support onshore and offshoring teams in new client engagements • Develop compelling value propositions and present them to client executives • Work closely with delivery, portfolio and presales teams to orchestrate innovative solutions • Act as a driver for new initiatives with a growth mindset to advance business development

Job Requirements

  • Several years of experience in IT consulting or the IT services sector within the Financial Services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the challenges, structures and processes of banks, insurers or other financial services providers, and the ability to derive concrete opportunities from them
  • Technical and domain expertise in cloud, AI, architecture or modernization
  • Excellent network across the Financial Services market, ideally up to C-level
  • Proven track record in acquiring, developing and managing projects at the intersection of business, IT and strategy
  • Strong business development and sales mindset with a solution-oriented and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in German and English
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
