Senior Java Engineer – Java, Angular
Tight Line
• Design and develop scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions • Own REST API design and backend services • Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable production deployments • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Experience building microservices and REST APIs
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Experience building modular, responsive UI components
- Understanding of state management and API integration
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) in production
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity or similar)
- Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts
- Basic scripting skills (Bash)
- Experience with Git-based workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong debugging and production support experience
- Comfortable working in Agile environments
- Nice to Have: Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Understanding of Kubernetes networking (Ingress, NGINX)
- Experience with Go
