Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning Analyst – LATAM

• Support the design and implementation of program evaluations, including qualitative case studies, participatory evaluation approaches, and outcome documentation. • Assist in developing evaluation frameworks, data collection instruments, interview guides, and protocols aligned with program learning objectives. • Ensure ethical data collection practices, including informed consent, safeguarding, confidentiality, and secure data management. • Coordinate and implement data collection activities across GLOW programs, including surveys, interviews, and partner-reported data. • Conduct qualitative data collection activities, including interviews, focus groups, and participatory reflection exercises with youth participants and program stakeholders. • Support the design and implementation of quantitative data collection activities, including surveys, indicator tracking, and structured monitoring tools across GLOW programs. • Maintain and support organizational data systems (e.g., Salesforce, survey platforms, attendance tracking systems). • Clean, validate, and organize datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability. • Support the preparation and translation of data collection tools and guidance for international partners. • Coordinate timelines and follow-ups with partners to ensure timely and accurate data reporting. • Analyze qualitative interview data and case study documentation using thematic or narrative analysis methods. • Conduct descriptive quantitative analyses (e.g., frequencies, cross-tabulations, and basic trend analysis) to examine program outcomes and participant characteristics, and contribute to data summaries and visualizations for reporting and learning purposes. • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize relevant research to inform evaluation design and program learning. • Prepare data summaries, visualizations, and analytical briefs to support internal decision-making and external reporting. • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and emerging patterns to inform further inquiry or program improvement. • Stay current on research and evaluation practices related to girls’ empowerment, youth leadership, and gender equity. • Provide ad-hoc MEL and evaluation support across teams as needed. • Support the development of MEL reports, case studies, and impact summaries for internal learning and external audiences including donors and partners. • Contribute to the preparation of dashboards, presentations, and evaluation reports. • Assist in documenting program outcomes and impact stories that highlight youth leadership and community change. • Assist in tracking MEL indicators and progress against organizational frameworks (e.g., Theory of Change and outcomes frameworks).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, social sciences, public policy, statistics, or a related field, masters in a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, applied research, or program evaluation.
  • Experience conducting qualitative data collection, including interviews or focus groups.
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience cleaning, organizing, and managing datasets.
  • Experience coordinating data collection across multiple programs or partners.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and evaluation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly about data and evaluation findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with statistical or qualitative analysis software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, NVivo, Dedoose) is a plus.
  • Interest in girls’ empowerment, education, health, or social impact work.
  • Data visualization or storytelling with data skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Global G.L.O.W.’s mission and core values.
