Job Description: The purpose of this position is to lead the constructability & collaborate with Nextpower teams on new Tracker integrated work platform designs and current products. Field: You will provide the train-the-trainer (role) and the on-site constructability training with Nextpower Contractor on first-time (new tracker integrated solutions) builds. Details matter. This initiative-taking role will collaborate with our teams (research & development, documentation, product applications, project engineering, product managers, quality, tooling, and safety) for generating new installation manuals for new tracker integrated solutions and current product updates. You will orchestrate North America field applications personnel on “best practices” build faster (safely) training. Customer-facing skills are essential with Nextpower senior management, cross-functional departments as well as owners, prime & secondary contractors. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Collaborate, analyze, and suggest areas for value engineering to provide most ideal solutions o Reduce line items (PNs) o Standardization Identify opportunities for tracker integrated solutions installation improvements o Time studies/install evaluation (trackers & components) o Product improvement reports for improved installation Manage field applications team, field customer support o Support Customers on site for key product release/resolution of issues o Manage personnel & training for Nextpower installation “first time quality” Evaluate field related issues to determine root cause (Six Sigma) o Installation (construction deviation) o Supplier quality (non-conformance) o Design analysis for cause Evaluate compatibility of various Nextpower products and components o Components as-built o Replacement parts Review of product installation documents o Construction set o Installation manuals o Technical bulletins (TBN) Participating & lead field engineering changes / updates to o Installation manuals o Technical bulletins (TBNs) Ideal Candidate: · Nextpower (Engineering) experience, minimum four (4) years preferred · Engineering degree with mechanical tracker resume · Ability to analyze field engineering solutions with a scope, schedule & cost perspective to find most value engineered solution(s) · Management experience (teams/personnel) · Field experience in training construction personnel · Ability to Author technical documents · Current Nextpower subcontractor or full-time employee (FTE) Here is some of what you’ll need (required): · B.S. Mechanical (or Structural) Engineering or extensive field knowledge (quantifiable) for mechanical construction · Minimum 3 years of mechanical / structural engineering experience in solar trackers (Nextpower preference) · Demonstrated examples of solving complex problems · Initiative driven, independent, technical aptitude and excellent people skills · Comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base and product offerings · Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally verbally, in writing and with presentations · Aptitude using following platforms: Arena, NetSuite, Jira, Confluence Here are a few of our preferred experiences: · Designing and constructing ground-mounted solar tracking systems · Prior field leadership roles: engineering, applications, site leadership roles Nextpower offers a comprehensive benefits package. • Build new features for the REST API on top of a modern tech stack using Node.js written in Typescript, and deployed to AWS. • Work alongside senior developers, product management, designers, and QA team to implement new features and enhancements. • Develop features using AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift. • Contribute to improving the performance and scalability of our platform. • Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform and Serverless Framework.

• Ensure robust security practices within a highly regulated SaaS environment. • Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams embedding security throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Manage automated vulnerability scanning tools and coordinate penetration tests. • Advise on secure architecture and support compliance, risk management, and incident response initiatives. • Monitor and analyze security alerts and vulnerability reports. • Maintain and optimize automated vulnerability scanning systems (SAST/DAST). • Own the design, implementation, and evolution of ASPM capabilities. • Coordinate and manage third-party penetration tests and bug bounty programs. • Collaborate cross-functionally for architectural and code reviews. • Develop and maintain application threat models.

• Create, manage, and maintain the application security strategy and roadmap, tracking OKRs and work efforts over six quarters. • Comfortable and excited to lead the application security domain, including managing and maintaining existing tools, executing domain strategies, and owning all aspects of application security. • Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect Alma’s data, applications, and systems. • Gain a deep understanding of Alma’s systems and architecture and the software development processes used to develop it. • Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of secure coding, application authentication, encryption, AI, and quickly research and become competent in other areas as needed. • Collaborate with teammates, PMs, and peers to design, develop and implement engineering’s technical security strategy and architecture. • Collaborate with the Platform Infrastructure team to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a security infrastructure that monitors and protects against security breaches and intrusions. • Collaborate with the Developer Experience team to integrate security tools, workflows, and practices into development environments. • Continually research current and emerging security threats and technologies, proposing changes and guidance that are most impactful. • Develop appropriate technical solutions along with the latest security tools that help mitigate security vulnerabilities and also help automate repeatable activities. • Build and provide high-quality application security documentation and training to engineers to set them up for success. • Educate and train Alma engineering on information system security best practices using our security training solution as well as in-person and recorded training. • Mature and execute the Threat Modeling program with engineers. • Implement, manage, and maintain application security tools such as SAST and DAST scanners and own the workflow for remediation of findings. • Assist with creating the reports for management regarding vulnerabilities, training, and other relevant metrics.
