Solution Design Engineer

CMA CGM

• Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectives • Engineering support may include data analysis, concept of operations, design layouts, identifying processes, build engineering models and develop customer proposals • Continuous development of engineering skills to design distribution center operations • Work with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals on a timely basis • Provide engineering support for other operational improvements as requested • Incorporate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when appropriate

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions
  • Experience in engineering Distribution Centers
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of WMS functionality
  • Experience in warehouse automation applications a plus
  • Six Sigma and Lean certification a plus
