Role Description We are looking for a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Thermal Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this key role, you will lead the design and development of innovative Direct Liquid Cooling solutions, including passive cold plate loops, manifolds, and modular components. - Use thermal and mechanical engineering principles to lead the design and development of custom passive coldplate loops and rack & chassis manifolds. - Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure seamless integration of products into overall cooling system designs and effective project execution. - Oversee the fabrication and testing of products, conduct experiments, collect data, and iterate designs to achieve desired thermal and mechanical performance. - Aid in conducting comprehensive reviews of designs and drawings produced by junior team members. - Develop detailed engineering documentation, reports, and articulate technical presentations to effectively communicate design concepts, testing outcomes, and recommendations to both internal teams and external stakeholders. - Utilize CAD, Simulation tools and engineering principles to aid in Mechanical and Thermal design of cooling products. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in thermal/mechanical engineering with a P.Eng designation or similar professional. - Highly proficiency in using CAD and simulation software (e.g. Solidworks, Celsius EC) to create detailed mechanical designs & drawings and predict & optimize performance. - Solid understanding of fluid dynamic principles, especially as they relate to heat transfer and fluid flow in cooling systems. - Proven ability to design components for mass production using a variety of different manufacturing methods and engineering principles (Statistical tolerance analysis, GD&T, FMEA, DFM & DFA). Requirements - A Master’s degree in relevant thermal or fluid dynamics field is an asset. - Experience in a mass production environment is an asset. • Lead end‑to‑end UX for ViDA’s data applications and dashboards, including user research, information architecture, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing. • Engage directly with users—clinical engineers, medical physicists, service teams, and internal stakeholders—to understand real workflows, constraints, vocabulary, and cognitive load. • Translate complex telemetry streams and AI model outputs into interfaces that prioritise clarity, density management, and rapid decision‑making. • Apply strong information‑design principles to data visualisation, including chart selection, hierarchy, colour usage, annotations, accessibility, and thoughtful handling of empty, error, and loading states. • Design and build production frontend applications using modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui), moving fluidly between design tools and code. • Design BI dashboards with the same UX rigour and product mindset applied to custom web applications. • Own and evolve ViDA’s design system and shared component library to ensure consistency and scalability across data products. • Partner closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and analytics engineers to turn raw use cases into shipped, adopted products (not prototypes). • Own a meaningful portion of the application lifecycle, including scoping, design, implementation, deployment, observability, and continuous improvement. • Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, v0) where appropriate, applying judgement to maximise quality and productivity. • Mobile app knowledge (required): contribute to mobile app UX and/or mobile‑first workflows (e.g., field/service experiences), bringing strong understanding of mobile interaction patterns and constraints.
