• Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks). • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security, and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud services, including network, storage, and computer problems. • Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with security policies. • Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and availability in case of failures or disasters. • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline cloud operations and improve efficiency. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures. • Provide support to development and operations teams, collaborating to resolve issues and implement cloud-based solutions. • Monitor and manage cloud expenditures, optimizing costs through efficient resource allocation and usage.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Proven experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
