• Maintain, monitor, and support the client’s AWS cloud environment, including installations and resource provisioning • Proactively monitor resource usage, evaluate costs, and deliver strategies to optimize expenditures within the AWS environment • Provide expert recommendations for improvement, addressing the client’s cloud infrastructure and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and innovation • Serve as the primary point of contact and SME for all cloud-related queries, ensuring alignment with the client’s business goals • Work directly with client stakeholders to ensure cloud services meet operational requirements while adhering to security and compliance standards • Draft and submit IT-related requests on behalf of the client, reducing operational overhead for the client’s internal teams • Provide hands-on troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution for any issues related to the AWS environment • Stay updated with AWS advancements and industry best practices, integrating new solutions into the existing environment as appropriate

Qualifications Required: - Active Secret clearance is required. - Experience planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications for an enterprise level system. - Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. - Experience architecting and developing software/infrastructure for scalable, secure, and distributed systems on Hybrid or Multi-cloud environments. - Experience using GitLab for CI/CD and automated deployments. - Experience with writing Terraform, Ansible playbooks, Linux automation scripts, rudimentary APIs or automation scripts to interact with existing APIs, automated provisioning, Infrastructure as code and software development programming languages (Python, Java, GO). - Strong familiarity using Linux toolsets to support and analyze network related topics and issues. - Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP - Experience managing, administrating, configuring, deploying and maintaining environments and system integration tools, including Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, & Grafana. - Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics at the container level with APM or other tools, including Splunk, ELK, and Prometheus. - Knowledge IDAM requirements and technologies, including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, hardware tokens, OAuth 2.0, or OIDC. - DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+ or other) Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field - Knowledge of the government software development process and technologies - Previous GovTech experience - Previous experience obtaining an ATO for a Platform as a Service (PaaS) - Experience with Agile development methodologies and working with Agile teams - Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Target salary range: $131,161.74 - $227,168.42 Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
