Job Description

Consulting Manager – Cyber Security

MINDEIGHT GmbH

• You will develop the consulting offering and methodologies for the newly established “Cyber Security” practice. • You will strengthen the company’s Cyber Security expertise to further develop our consulting approach. • You will support the expansion of existing client relationships and the acquisition of new clients in collaboration with the sales team. • You will contribute your expertise to the preparation of project proposals and presentations. • You will assume project responsibility commensurate with your qualifications and experience. • Conduct security analyses, risk assessments, and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and threats. • Develop IT security concepts aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements, and support their implementation at client sites. • Support the implementation and adherence to security standards and industry-specific regulations. • Participate in security-relevant sourcing projects. • Provide strategic advice to executive management to raise awareness of security risks and mitigation measures. • You always maintain an open ear for our clients and can identify new consulting needs and communicate them.

Job Requirements

  • You hold a successfully completed Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration/Economics, or a comparable field.
  • You have 7+ years of professional experience in the strategic or operational implementation of cyber security measures, either as a consultant or in a comparable line function within an IT organization.
  • Solid knowledge of information security, data protection, IT risk management, IT compliance, security architectures, and relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and critical infrastructure regulations (KRITIS).
  • Experience leading or executing cyber security projects, ideally complemented by project management certifications such as PMI or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in the development and operation of information security management systems and Security Operation Centers (SOCs) is an advantage.
  • Desired certifications include CISA, CISSP, and CISM.
