Role Description We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in database migration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and RDBMS systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions, with a focus on seamless database deployments, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime releases. Key Responsibilities - DevOps & CI/CD: - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. - Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability. - Ensure smooth integration between development, QA, and production environments. - Database Migration & Management: - Manage database version control and schema migrations using Flyway or Liquibase. - Plan and execute database changes across environments with minimal downtime. - Ensure consistency, integrity, and performance of database systems. - Deployment Strategies: - Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies for applications and databases. - Design and execute robust rollback strategies to handle deployment failures. - Monitor deployments and proactively resolve issues. - Cloud & Infrastructure: - Work on Azure cloud services to deploy and manage infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources and costs. - Monitoring & Optimization: - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. - Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and practices. Qualifications - Strong experience with Flyway or Liquibase for SQL migrations. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions. - Strong knowledge of RDBMS systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle. - Expertise in database migration strategies and version control. - Experience with rollback strategies and zero-downtime deployments. - Solid understanding of Azure cloud services. - Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or similar). - Good understanding of DevOps best practices and Agile methodologies. Good to Have Skills - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates). - Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus. • Platform Management: Take ownership of the management and ongoing maintenance of our Kubernetes platforms. • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with multiple development squads to identify requirements for building and deploying complex applications. • AWS Automation: Design and implement the automated deployment and configuration of cloud-application workloads within AWS. • Observability: Develop, advise on, and troubleshoot monitoring and management frameworks for cloud-resident workloads. • Consultancy: Assist engineering teams in architecting manageable, scalable, and highly observable cloud-native applications. • Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve environment and configuration issues. Analyse logs and monitoring data to proactively communicate potential risks to stakeholders. • Environment Orchestration: Manage and communicate the state, versioning, and availability of various environments to Developers, QA, and wider team members. • Tooling Excellence: Maintain and optimise shared development tools for branching, tagging, building, releasing, and reporting. • Willingness to provide on-call support on weekend (once in a month)

• Build and maintain our next-gen infrastructure based on Kubernetes/OpenShift • Design and implement robust technical design with scalability, real-time processing and high availability • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with multiple agile teams to deliver end-to-end products and features in micro services architecture • Design and implement solutions for deployment and ongoing monitoring for multiple environments including but not limited to Azure, AWS and bespoke solutions. • Develop automated deployment practices and solutions • Work with team members to architect solutions on a variety of platforms. • Resolve build, environment and code deployment issues • Manage code releases for multiple deployment teams • Actively participate in debugging and resolution of issues related to application performance and latency
