IT Functional Analyst

• Analyst is a part of Product Owner team responsible for Owning the product backlog, creating and prioritizing the user stories. • Works daily with the development team to clarify requirements. • Accepts or rejects completed work based on defined criteria. • Ensures each feature delivers value to the customer and aligns with the product vision. • Understand any issues from production and continuously helps improving/scaling/industrializing/commercializing the product. • Understand the functional requirements and create user stories for the development team. • Create functional artifacts like business process model, domain model, algorithms, activity and sequence diagrams, and UX mockups to support requirement definition. • Ensure that the functional and non-functional requirements are identified and clearly articulated. • Participate in functional validation and sprint reviews. • Participate in development discussions to ascertain if the requirements are clearly understood, document conflicts, and revising the functional specifications after resolving the conflicts based on the discussion with the Business Process Owner. • Contribute to identifying key test scenarios for the user requirements. • Serve as the liaison between the Business and the Development team. • Understand incidents from Production and improvise the product.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors or master’s in engineering, Computer Science or similar educational background.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Application/Software Development as Business/Functional Analyst or as an associate.
  • Experience in UML to create domain model, activity diagrams as part of requirement definition.
  • Experience in SQL.
  • Experience to decompose large functional requirement into independent, granular user stories (following INVEST principle).
  • Experience with functional designs and tools for user journeys.
  • Good business understanding to facilitate discussions from Leadership to Business users.

This is a remote opportunity based in the United States. Job Summary The Diversion Analyst is responsible for ensuring controlled substance accountability throughout the medication use process. This position will help to prevent controlled substance misuse/abuse/diversion and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements throughout our customers. This team member designs and executes audits and proactive monitoring strategies for discrepant use of controlled medications, maintains records and educates customers on requirements and best practices. This role requires completing activities related to customer application education and satisfaction, industry trends, and expertise in data analysis. This role will provide services necessary to deliver and maintain a compliant and robust drug diversion monitoring program for our customers. Duties and Responsibilities - Review and dissect customer alerts to identify suspicious activity. - Document investigations for potential incidents found during investigation of alerts. - Maintain positive relationships with Drug Diversion Monitoring Services customers through training requests, monitoring, investigations, benchmarking reports, and managing workflows. - Develop expertise in industry trends, drug diversion regulations, and the Imprivata FairWarning solution. - Ensure Imprivata application of the customer is current and able to meet contractual obligations and monitor on a daily basis. - Serve the customer as a primary point of contact for services related to Drug Diversion Monitoring - Ensure the renewal of subscription Managed Services by providing outstanding customer service at all times. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project and process methodologies, training and documentation. - Assist with maintaining a repository of related documentation pertaining to the customer's Imprivata enterprise. - Establish and facilitate recurring customer meetings, and manage communication of status updates, health reports, and recommendations to customer stakeholders. - Assist responses to certain support requests and troubleshooting efforts on behalf of Managed Services customer accounts. - Other duties as assigned and required. Qualifications - Associates degree required in Pharmacy, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related discipline. Bachelor's degree preferred. - 1-3 years of Pharmacy experience; Prior pharmacy experience or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) a plus. - Experience with data analytics / data mining and project management is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written skills, with dedicated attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize, organize and autonomously problem solve while working to meet deadlines. - Self-motivated and positive customer service attitude. - Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflow a plus. - Prior experience with serving healthcare customers and Imprivata solutions or relevant healthcare information technology a plus. - Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office365, and Salesforce. This position offers a total compensation range of $59,000.00 to $75,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). About the role We are seeking one or more senior advisors with storied careers in weather modification, cloud seeding, or closely related fields. This is a strategic advisory role for someone who has spent decades in the field and brings a combination of scientific credibility, operational experience, and deep relationships across the weather modification community. The ideal candidate has led or contributed to field campaigns (particularly international programs), published in the peer-reviewed literature, navigated regulatory and permitting processes, and built relationships with the agencies, operators, and institutions that make up the weather modification ecosystem. We are open to a range of backgrounds. The right person could be a senior atmospheric scientist with extensive modeling and publication experience, a veteran field campaign leader with international operational expertise, a business development executive with deep ties to water agencies and government programs, or a regulatory specialist who has guided weather modification permits across multiple jurisdictions. The advisor will work closely with the founding team, providing strategic guidance on technical direction, commercial positioning, and market entry within the weather modification sector. What you'll do Responsibilities will be tailored to the advisor's background and strengths, but may include any combination of the following. Technical and Scientific Advisory - Advise on atmospheric modeling strategy, including numerical weather prediction, cloud microphysics, and observational data integration. - Review and evaluate scientific approaches, modeling assumptions, and validation methodologies for rigor and operational relevance. - Provide mentorship to the team, drawing on experience from field campaigns, operational programs, and published research. - Help translate scientific results into operationally meaningful guidance. Field Campaign and Operational Experience - Advise on the design, planning, and execution of field campaigns and operational deployments, drawing on experience from domestic and international weather modification programs. - Provide guidance on instrumentation, observational strategies, and real-time decision-making in field environments. - Share lessons learned from past programs to help the team avoid common pitfalls and accelerate operational readiness. Business Development and Industry Relationships - Leverage established relationships across the weather modification industry to identify and facilitate partnerships, pilot opportunities, and early adopter relationships. - Support engagement with potential customers, including state and federal water agencies, agricultural districts, municipal water authorities, hydroelectric operators, and wildfire management agencies. - Advise on commercial positioning, high-value use cases, and how weather modification programs are typically structured, funded, and scaled. - Identify and characterize the competitive landscape, including incumbent operators, emerging technologies, and relevant government programs. Regulatory, Permitting, and Stakeholder Engagement - Provide guidance on the regulatory and permitting landscape for weather modification across relevant domestic and international jurisdictions. - Advise on environmental review requirements, reporting obligations, and community engagement best practices. - Provide experienced presence in discussions with research institutions, government agencies, industry associations, and potential partners. - Help prepare technical and commercial materials that communicate scientific credibility to both expert and general audiences.
