Role Description La Communauté de Communes Aunis Sud regroupe 24 communes et environ 34 000 habitants. Le territoire plutôt à caractère rural dispose de deux pôles structurants (Surgères et Aigrefeuille d’Aunis). Le territoire Aunis Sud se situe en Nouvelle-Aquitaine, au Nord du département de la Charente-Maritime au carrefour de trois agglomérations : La Rochelle, Rochefort sur Mer et Niort. Cette localisation lui permet d’être un territoire dynamique d’un point de vue démographique et économique. La Communauté de Communes Aunis Sud dispose d’une compétence Culture définie autour : - D’équipements structurants : Un site archéologique, un Conservatoire de musique à rayonnement intercommunal et un Réseau des Bibliothèques fort de 18 bibliothèques. - De partenariats forts : Cinéma Le Palace, Microfolie de la Ville de Surgères, Ecole de musique associative, par exemple.
