Job Summary: In this role, you will support the execution of Fx5’s marketing strategy by creating, editing, and optimizing content across multiple channels, including the website, blog, email, social media, and product and customer communications. You will translate product and industry information into clear, compelling content; maintain the content calendar; support campaign execution; and ensure consistency with Fx5’s brand standards across all messaging. Day-to-day, you will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to produce high-quality content that enhances customer engagement and contributes to demand generation, retention, and brand awareness. FIVE x 5 (Fx5) provides two SaaS solutions, DISTILL x 5 and Whiskey Systems, supporting distilled spirits operations and compliance requirements for partners in the US & 20 countries. In this role, you will support the execution of Fx5’s marketing strategy by creating, editing, and optimizing content across multiple channels, including the website, blog, email, social media, and product and customer communications. You will translate product and industry information into clear, compelling content; maintain the content calendar; support campaign execution; and ensure consistency with Fx5’s brand standards across all messaging. Day-to-day, you will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to produce high-quality content that enhances customer engagement and contributes to demand generation, retention, and brand awareness. Role Responsibilities Content Creation & Editing – 45% - Write, edit, and publish multi-channel content including blog articles, web pages, marketing emails, social posts, newsletters, product/customer communications, and educational resources. - Repurpose and adapt content for different channels and audiences (U.S., U.K., AUS, others as business develops). - Ensure all content meets Fx5 brand, tone, and accuracy standards, including grammar, clarity, and compliance requirements. - Translate product, technical, and regulatory information into accessible, engaging content for distillery partners. Campaign, Email, and Lifecycle Support – 20% - Draft and support execution of marketing and lifecycle emails through Mailchimp, Pardot, or similar platforms. - Build email templates, segments, and A/B tests based on direction from the Manager, Marketing. - Collaborate on nurture programs, product adoption campaigns, and retention-focused communications. Content Management, SEO, and Web Updates – 15% - Update, maintain, and optimize website content through WordPress or similar CMS tools. - Apply SEO best practices (keywords, metadata, internal linking, readability) to improve content discoverability and performance. - Manage content calendars, publishing workflows, and version control across digital platforms. Analytics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement – 10% - Track and review content performance metrics (email engagement, page views, CTR, SEO rankings). - Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights and share recommendations with the Manager, Marketing. - Participate in test-and-learn cycles for messaging, subject lines, CTAs, and content formats. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support – 10% - Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to source information, gather customer stories, and refine content accuracy. - Support internal knowledge and enablement materials as needed (product updates, FAQs, guides). - Coordinate with contractors or vendors (writers, designers) as directed by the Manager, Marketing. - Assist with event planning, coordination, materials, content development, fulfillment, and on-site engagement as needed. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field; or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in content development, digital marketing, or communications. Professional Experience - 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, copywriting, or a related communications role. - Experience producing and publishing content across multiple digital channels (e.g., web, email, blog, social) - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to gather inputs and finalize content. - Experience managing multiple content pieces or tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Software & Tools Experience using the following software and toolsets: - CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or similar) for creating, updating, and publishing digital content, including basic formatting and SEO elements. - CRM and marketing automation systems—specifically Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement—for building email campaigns, landing pages, forms, digital assets, automated nurture workflows, and managing lists, dynamic segments, tags, behavioral triggers, and campaign reporting. - Digital asset creation tools (e.g., Canva or equivalent) to prepare visuals for email, web, and social channels aligned to brand standards. - Collaboration and project-management platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar) to manage workflows, deadlines, and cross-functional reviews. Preferences Include - Experience with SEO best practices and optimizing content for discoverability. - Experience supporting content analytics or performance reporting. - Experience in a SaaS environment or regulated/technical industry. Internal Requirements A Professional and Technical assessment will be completed based on level 1 of the Content Marketing Specialist RDM to verify skill level is appropriate for the role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Content Development & Execution: Strong knowledge of multi-channel content development, including writing, editing, SEO, and repurposing content for web, email, social, and product/customer communications. Able to translate technical and regulatory product information into clear, accurate, and engaging content that reflects customer needs, industry context, and Fx5’s brand voice. - Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives tailored to different audiences, channels, and regions (U.S., U.K., AUS). Collaborates effectively with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and external contributors to refine messaging and ensure consistency across campaigns. - Technical & Digital Marketing Mastery: Proficiency with CMS and CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and marketing automation systems (e.g., WordPress, Mailchimp, Pardot, ActiveCampaign), with the ability to independently perform common publishing, formatting, and content management tasks. Comfortable using analytics tools and basic design software to support content performance, formatting, and iteration. Demonstrates a strong appetite to learn Fx5’s products, customers, and compliance-driven operating environment. - Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Ability to manage multiple content projects, adjust to shifting priorities, and work efficiently within deadlines. Applies creativity, curiosity, and a test-and-learn mindset to enhance content quality, improve workflow efficiency, and support evolving marketing needs across the customer lifecycle. - AI & Innovation: Proactively applies AI-powered tools in content and marketing workflows to improve efficiency, creativity, and accuracy while ensuring compliance with Fx5 standards. - Commercial Mindset: Connects content and campaign execution to revenue impact, customer value, lifecycle engagement, and overall marketing objectives, balancing quality, speed, and business impact. - Industry & Market: Interest in or passion for regulated beverage and/or craft spirits or adjacent industries, with the ability to quickly learn terminology, processes, and partner needs to produce relevant, credible, and customer-centric content. The range listed is just one component of FIVE x 5 total compensation package for regular full-time employees.
