Role Description We are looking for an Account Executive to own and close new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a driven, consultative seller with a proven ability to manage complex deal cycles and communicate value to multiple stakeholders. You know how to run a tight sales process, build genuine relationships with buyers, and consistently deliver results. - Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close across a defined territory or segment - Run tailored product demos and consultative conversations with finance, IT, and procurement stakeholders - Manage and grow a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent follow-through - Work closely with SDRs to convert outbound and inbound opportunities - Clearly articulate technical and financial value propositions to analytical buyers - Negotiate and close deals while maintaining strong customer relationships - Collaborate with customer success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term account health - Maintain accurate CRM data and contribute to team-wide sales best practices Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in a closing role in B2B SaaS - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota - Strong discovery, demo, negotiation, and closing skills - Comfortable selling to multiple stakeholders across finance, IT, and procurement - Organized, process-driven, and comfortable working with CRM systems - Thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment Requirements - Experience selling fintech, spend management, or financial SaaS products (Nice-to-Have) - Familiarity with mid-market deal cycles and multi-stakeholder environments (Nice-to-Have) - Experience working with SDRs and contributing to pipeline generation (Nice-to-Have) - Knowledge of modern sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, etc.) (Nice-to-Have) Benefits - Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives - Clear growth path within the sales organization - Direct exposure to leadership and strategic initiatives - An environment with high standards, a fast pace, and real ownership - Paid vacation and sick leave - Paid overtime when extra effort is needed and visible Company Description Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech SaaS startup helping companies take control of their spending.
