Role Description In this position, you will provide administrative support to the team and mission. This includes: - Admin, scheduling, budgeting, reimbursements, record keeping, event planning, customer service, vendor management, and office management. - Flexible scheduling outside of recurring weekly meetings. - Works with internal partners to support flexibility, collaboration, creating a positive work environment. - Consistently maintaining professionalism and integrity. - Actively taking steps to foster high morale and demonstrating a dedication to excellence. - Provide excellent customer service interactions for staff, vendors, and clients. - Invoicing, staff reimbursements, and expense approvals. - Maintaining and updating staff and departmental documents. - Manage staff communications: reminders, training, orientation, etc. - Completes administrative support tasks for the team, including emails to customers and staff. - Manage vendors. - Plan and manage event logistics. - Oversee remote office operations. - Coordinate and schedule meetings; take notes. - Assists with other administrative tasks as needed. - Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED. - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively. - Familiar with invoicing, reimbursements, and expense approvals. - Experience using multiple software systems in a remote setting. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Ability to be highly organized and capable of performing the administrative tasks needed for the role. - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service skills. - Confidence in making decisions. - Experience using: bill.com, Gusto, Monday.com, or Salesforce. Requirements - Training: Monday - Friday, on the job, 90-minute - 2-hour blocks during normal business hours (EST), for 1-2 weeks. - Post-Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 15 hours weekly. - Pay: $25 per hour.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the University’s course catalog and academic program records within the student information system (MyBU). The Assistant Registrar serves as a central liaison between the Registrar’s Office and academic units across the University, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of curriculum data.
