• Drive the technical delivery of CatalyX Blockchain Manager while contributing to the product codebase through implementation and code reviews. • Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, setting the bar for code quality, testing, and delivery pace through your own work. • Break down product and client requirements into clear technical tasks, estimates, and a realistic sprint plan. • Lead the technical investigation and resolution of critical issues and capture lessons learned. • Uphold engineering best practices throughout the SDLC. • Drive effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools within the team, setting standards for when to rely on them and how to review their output.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, working in a globally distributed development environment.
- Proven experience leading development teams while remaining an active, hands-on contributor.
- Excellent programming skills and experience in Java.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with OAuth/OIDC (Keycloak, Auth0).
- DevOps skills: CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, observability.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TLS, DNS, load balancing, service-to-service communication) in distributed environments.
- Experienced user of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) with sound judgment on where they accelerate delivery and where they introduce risk.
- Clear communicator who can align engineers, the architect, and product stakeholders.
- Experience with blockchain technologies: Canton/Daml or other enterprise blockchain frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
