Role Description Numerator is looking for a top performing sales professional to join our growing organization. As a Sales Director - Restaurants, (within our Emerging Verticals team) you will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most iconic brands to help bring to life their advertising, marketing, and promotional strategies through Numerator’s rich portfolio of solutions and insights. This role will be in charge of building new relationships in a variety of markets and spaces. We're looking for a sales individual who brings both knowledge and experience selling research solutions to enterprise customers (direct selling to Limited Service and Full Service restaurants preferred) and who also understands the marketing and research world. In addition to selling to new customers, you will manage and expand relationships with existing clients throughout your territory. - Continue growth of Numerator’s Restaurant customers - Prospect and build new business in assigned territory through professional networking and lead generation - Build strong relationships with clients and prospective clients by creating trust and confidence at multiple levels within and across key buying centers - Uncover and develop client business needs based on Numerator's unique Point of View and set of comprehensive capabilities - Engage VP and C-suite executives through a consultative sales approach - Articulate and demonstrate the value of our solutions individually and as a unique set of connected capabilities - Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and close across all product lines by working with clients, prospects, and Numerator's account management and solution experts Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience - A minimum of 10 years of enterprise software sales experience, selling into restaurants for a majority of that time, in the functional areas of Brand Marketing, Market Research, Menu Innovation and Consumer Insights - Working knowledge of software applications and services designed for the restaurant industry is highly valued (e.g., Circana, Dataessential, Technomic) - Knowledge and experience in the survey industry (e.g., Ipsos, SurveyMonkey, Suzy) is preferred, particularly within the context of the restaurant space - Understanding of how survey and purchase data can be integrated to provide deeper consumer insights is highly valued - Innovative and results-oriented sales contributor with strong software/tech sales experience, preferably with SaaS exposure - Ability to follow an ROI led sales process - Proven track record exceeding sales goals and an ability to drive strategic sales cycles and close business - Experience negotiating and renewing strategic/high revenue impact partnerships solo, including those that require deep sales and product integrations between companies - Exceptional communication and presentation skills - Ability to speak fluently to senior executives, head of insights and marketing teams - Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com and its use for updating accounts, opportunities, and deal stages Company Description
