• Train alongside Field Service Engineers at customer site visits, including installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to flow cytometry instrumentation • Learn and follow service procedures, technical memos, safety standards, and documentation requirements, along with how to use Salesforce and prepare a Field Service Report • Communicate product quality observations or service concerns to appropriate team members • Work closely with Field Service, Sales, and Field Applications teams • Support customer satisfaction through professional communication and timely follow-up • Assist with maintaining service parts and inventory organization, completing expense reports in a timely manner and entering hours into your timesheet on a weekly basis • Develop understanding of flow cytometry systems, including optics, fluidics, electronics, and pneumatics • Travel to customer sites as required within the assigned region

• Conduct fundamental and innovative development in low-cost yet powerful vision-language models (VLM), unified models, automatic model compression, optimization and deployment on cloud and edge. • Design or implement state-of-the-art techs on model compression, inference speedup, deployment on hardwares, tool automation. • PoC for various vision+text, generation relevant tasks (VQA, captioning, understanding, etc) and hardwares. • Contribute to library and tool development to support business; or Publish influential research in top-tier conferences and journals.

• Architect, design and develop RESTful API Endpoints, ensuring high performance, scalability and maintainability. • Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to build dynamic, responsive, and user-centric web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. • Define robust data models and database schemas, and manage relational or NoSQL databases with a strong emphasis on data integrity and performance optimization. • Direct and govern AI coding agents across the delivery lifecycle, setting context, reviewing agent-generated output, and enforcing SEPS delivery standards at every gate. • Design and maintain agent workflows using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and the AI-native development framework, ensuring structured, auditable, and high-quality delivery. • Configure and maintain prompt engineering patterns, structured output schemas, with rules and guardrails to align agent behavior with SEPS platform standards. • Trace, debug, and triage agent tool calls, prompt failures, and unexpected outputs, maintaining visibility into AI-assisted delivery at every stage. • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for application architecture, design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. • Provide accurate task estimations and delivery timelines, contributing to effective sprint planning and execution. • Participate in the on-call rotation, responding promptly to production issues and ensuring system stability and uptime. • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of AI-native ways of working, learning, and continuous improvement.

• Acts as the primary decision-maker for cyber defense operations during significant security incidents, in coordination with enterprise leadership. • Oversee the execution, quality, and effectiveness of 24x7 global security operations to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats against Sony Group Companies. • Collaborate with Sony Group Companies (SGCs) to develop tailored defensive solutions to meet unique needs of the businesses while reducing cyber risk. • Drive strategic transformation initiatives that measurably improve detection, response speed, and resilience. • Champion the use of emerging tools and techniques to improve visibility, detection, and response (e.g., AI, SOAR, EDR, etc). • Direct and develop a globally distributed organization, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning that is adaptable to rapidly changing needs. • Collaborate with key partners in IT, business operations, risk, and compliance to ensure alignment with security objectives. • Represent cyber defense leadership in executive forums and cross-functional meetings inside Sony, and representing Sony externally as a cyber leader for government and industry partnerships related to cybersecurity.

• Conduct innovative research in AI ethics, including but not limited to data collection, AI evaluation and harm mitigation. • Contribute to the development of tools and frameworks to assess and mitigate AI-related risks in natural language processing and computer vision, such as bias, privacy, copyright and transparency. • Improve the performance of open models to detect and mitigate AI harms. • Set up technical experiments to conduct evaluations of open models. • Contribute to research with the potential for publication.
