Role Description The EMR Remote Processor serves as a key member of the EMR Remote team. This position is responsible for processing Release of Information (ROI), specifically medical record requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and individual metrics are met. The associate must always safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy, and HIPAA regulations. - Enter accurate data when assigned by team lead - Remote processing of electronic medical records through various EMR systems as directed - Ability to work with minimum supervision responding to changing priorities and role needs - Report any technical difficulties that you may experience as soon as they occur - Meet required metrics for your role - CPH (Charts Per Hour) & Attendance - Actively participate in all training that is assigned to you by your supervisor - Maintain high standards of confidentiality to safeguard and protect patient’s rights and comply with all company and facilities policies and HIPAA regulations - Read all documentation and follow written instructions provided to ensure compliance and accurate job completion - Immediately report to team lead/coordinator/supervisor or management any security breaches, unsafe behavior witnessed, or any site difficulties - Support a service environment that focuses on quality processes - Ensure that deadlines are met and respond to emails and other requests for information timely - Adhere to company policies - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Six months plus Data Entry Experience - EMR experience A+ - Experience in a healthcare environment or release of information setting is strongly preferred - Demonstrate ability to address problems constructively to find acceptable solutions - Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail - Computer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook) - Excellent organizational skills - Excellent detail-orientation and accuracy with high volume environment - Adaptable to changing business environment - Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse group of individuals and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-departmental remote environment Requirements - To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. - Requests for exemptions will be reviewed by Ciox Human Resources on a case-by-case basis. - Depending on the state in which you will be working, exemptions may be available on the basis of disability, medical contraindications to the vaccine or any of its components, pregnancy or pregnancy-related medical conditions, and/or religion. - For remote work, this position requires that you provide a high-speed internet connection, subject to applicable expense reimbursement requirements (if any), and a work environment free from distractions. Role Description The Drug Pipeline Pharmacy Technician serves as a critical member of the Drug Information team, responsible for synthesizing and delivering accurate, market trend deliverables to internal entities. This role ensures the integrity of drug pipeline maps, market trend analysis, and formulary documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position will create draft reviews for submittal to the Manager of Drug Information for approval prior to delivery to the drug information team. The Drug Pipeline Pharmacy Technician is a highly independent and structural role within the drug Information team. This member is responsible for monitoring and identifying market changes and trends to enable the drug information team to prepare dependent materials for P&T review. This member is also responsible for developing key deliverables for internal and external clients expressing pipeline trends and timelines. Responsibilities - Develop and deliver accurate market trend analyses, drug pipeline maps, and formulary documentation for internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of formulary-related deliverables across all outputs. - Monitor and synthesize market and pipeline trends to support strategic and operational decision-making. - Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards in all formulary materials. - Prepare and coordinate draft reviews for submission to the Manager of Drug Information. - Incorporate feedback and revisions to finalize deliverables prior to distribution. - Collaborate cross-functionally to align drug pipeline deliverables with business and clinical objectives. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED - National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing - Minimum 2 years of experience in drug information, formulary management, or managed care pharmacy. - Prior involvement in pipeline monitoring and formulary strategy development (preferred). - Experience collaborating with analytics and finance teams for rebate and formulary optimization (preferred). Job Skills Required - Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of FDA regulations, safety alerts, and compliance requirements for formulary processes. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with drug information databases (e.g., Medispan, First Data Banks) and formulary management tools. - Data Analytics: Ability to interpret formulary data structures and communicate data effectively with finance and analytics teams.
