The Global Account Manager (Texas market) is responsible for retaining, acquiring, and increasing revenues from Fortune 100/500 accounts within a designated portfolio in a broad geographic area. They will be accountable for developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The successful candidate will be a motivated sales professional with a proven track-record of success within a complex sales organization. The job environment is fast paced, results oriented and requires a highly organized individual. This position is remote position with most accounts located within Texas, but some may be located elsewhere. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment. This position is an individual contributor and does not have formal supervision responsibilities. What You'll Do: - Plan, direct and control sales activities to retain, acquire and evolve a portfolio totaling approximately $50M in annual revenue of Fortune 100/500 accounts within multiple verticals - Maximize profitable market share growth through strategic global initiatives designed to enhance the customer experience - Negotiate complex global corporate account programs and contracts, utilizing both industry intelligence and account knowledge to execute mutually beneficial partnerships - Prospect, negotiate, sign, implement, grow and retain new business opportunities within a designated portfolio of business - Monitor, manage and ultimately improve customer satisfaction - Deliver effective virtual and in-person presentations that articulate the organizations value proposition - Maintain timely and clear communication with both internal and external customers - Effectively track account performance against success metrics and develop custom solutions to drive improvement and achieve goals - Coordinate, recommend, and implement the organization’s global sales strategies within existing portfolio to achieve organic growth - Follow and support the organization’s marketing and communications strategies - Oversee new global account implementation and team approach to account management - Attend, facilitate, and represent the organization at trade shows, seminars, and other sales events - Maintain the organization’s global account files, tasks, activities, and proposals utilizing SalesForce.com - Moderate travel - 15 - 20% travel will be required Perks You’ll Get: - Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance - Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages - 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions - Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills - Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars - Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more What We're Looking For: - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 7 year’s experience in a complex sales function - Outstanding in-person and virtual presentation skills - Demonstrated effectiveness in negotiating and closing complex customer deals through direct influence with multiple decision makers - Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams - Demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial complex customer relationships - Knowledge of outside sales processes - Candidate must possess solid business acumen - Strategic thinker with ability to execute on priorities - Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and virtual meeting platforms - Slack, Salesforce, Tableau and Outreach experience preferred The annual starting salary for this position is between $80,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $97,750 to $138,000, annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
