Autism Speaks is seeking a Manager, Nationwide Peer-to-Peer Programs to lead the execution of their TeamUp runDisney portfolio and support select TeamUp events. This role is accountable for achieving fundraising revenue goals, delivering high-quality participant experience, and ensuring consistent, well-coordinated event execution, including program components. The manager provides hands-on fundraising coaching, delivers tools and resources to support participant success and growth, tracks and reports on performance, and supports on-site event execution. Attendance and on-site participation at runDisney endurance events and designated TeamUp events is an essential function of this role. This position requires travel, extended on-site presence during multi-day events, direct participant interaction, and physical event-day support. This role is part of a collaborative, growing program and requires flexibility to pitch in across TeamUp and other peer‑to‑peer events as needed. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary on-site event lead for runDisney endurance events. - Manage end-to-end planning and execution of runDisney events (typically four annually), ensuring fundraising targets, timelines, and participant satisfaction goals are met. - Oversee event-related communications, engagement tools, and participant journeys for runDisney events to drive recruitment, retention, and fundraising performance. - Serve as on-site supporting staff for key TeamUp events and other peer to peer events as needed, providing in-person operational and participant support to the designated event lead to achieve event goals. - Deliver high-quality customer service by coaching and engaging a large portfolio of fundraising participants and volunteers across all stages of the fundraising lifecycle using phone, email, newsletters, virtual meetings, and social media. - Monitor performance against established revenue and participation goals (including an annual fundraising target of approximately $430,000 for the runDisney portfolio), and develop reports to track progress, identify trends, and surface risks or growth opportunities. - Support the Senior Manager in day-to-day operations and execution of strategic fundraising plans across TeamUp and other P2P initiatives. - Serve as a power user of fundraising platforms, ensuring effective utilization, data accuracy, and reporting integrity. - Oversee program timelines, communications, and engagement tools to recruit, train, and motivate participants to increase revenue for runDisney Events. - In partnership with Senior Manager, lead social media and digital engagement efforts related to all TeamUp events to increase visibility and fundraising performance. - Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues impacting participant experience or program performance. - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, digital, web, and donor support teams to ensure consistent messaging and efficient operations for all events. - Manage a shared or vanity inbox and deliver responsive, high-quality customer service. Position Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience - 5 years of experience in fundraising and working with volunteers or participants, preferably within peer-to-peer and/or endurance-based fundraising programs. Skills and Knowledge - Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and participant support. - Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify challenges and implement effective solutions. - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 - Working knowledge of fundraising platforms and systems; experience with GoFundMe Pro/Classy preferred. - Experience with CRM and fundraising databases; Stratus Live preferred. - Demonstrated passion for mission-driven work. Physical & Work Environment Requirements - Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to support programs and events. - This role includes travel primarily related to events (approximately 30%), which at times involves overnight stays; occasional travel for team meetings may also occur. - Event days include setting up and moving materials as well as being actively engaged on‑site for prolonged periods - Team Up event sites require moving between start areas, finish areas, and other event locations over distances of up to approximately one mile depending on the event. - Regular use of a computer for extended periods of time.
