• Lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations effectively • Provide first level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle for opportunities • Develop relationships with key clients and partners, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems • Effectively position our technology against competitive industry market • Represent our products and brand at field events such as industry and user conferences, tech summits, tradeshows, etc. • Translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience • Improve and develop technical documentation to help our clients better understand our products and services • Work cross functionally with Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams • Provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFIs • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Professional Services when necessary

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or sales fields
  • 3+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience
  • Strong presentation skills and presence in front of customers
  • Balanced sales and technical acumen
  • Ability to establish and maintain trust with clients
  • Ability to influence key decision makers and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (Salesforce) and project management (Jira/Smartsheet) software
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience/background in controls is a plus
  • Experience/background working with large global accounts is a plus

The U500 Presale Analyst is responsible for reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and preparing medical, dental and vision quotes. Role Description GE Vernova Electrification – Grid Software works with Electric Transmission, Distribution, Wholesale Energy Markets, Gas, Water and Telecommunication businesses to deliver mission critical industrial software for managing the grid and accurate geospatial network models. We are now looking to expand our Pre-Sales team with a specialist to support our GridOS Plan and Geospatial Network Modeling (GNM) solutions in the Growth Region (APAC, India, SSA, MENAT). This is a newly created position, and you will be a subject matter expert representing our organization, collaborating with internal development teams, pre-sales technical teams and commercial sales teams in the business to help build pipelines, drive sales, and achieve or exceed the operating plan.
