Senior Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Engineering SME
Barnes Aerospace
• Serve as a recognized technical authority in advanced manufacturing, automation, and repair technologies. • Establish standard manufacturing practices and technical roadmaps aligned with Barnes Aerospace engineering and operational goals. • Lead NPI, DFM, and industrialization activities to ensure robust, repeatable manufacturing processes. • Drive process optimization using new to Barnes technologies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem-solving methods. • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing within regulated industries (aerospace preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with automation, robotics, and process design, optimization and implementation in a production environment.
- Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
