Aerospace & Defense Sales Specialist

• Meeting or exceeding designated sales quota in your assigned sales territory • Partnering with local distribution to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs • Prospecting for new growth opportunities with both new and current 3M customers • Collaborating with 3M’s End-User Key Accounts Team to drive growth through key end-user customers • Effectively and consistently managing your opportunity pipeline • Conducting strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews for key markets and end-user customers in the region
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Master's degree from an accredited institution (additional qualification)
- Ten (10) years of sales or technical engineering experience (additional qualification)
- A strong track record of consistent sales achievements
- Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Product demonstration skills and competence
- Robust aptitude for collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
