Senior Data Analyst

• Leverage data tools and capabilities to deliver superior service to client's customers and to advance the Data & Analytics Road Map. • Conduct discovery and end-to-end data analysis to understand customer needs and to help develop plans and activities to improve data quality. • Elicit, analyze, interpret business and data requirements to develop complete data product solutions, includes review data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data management, governance, lineage, metadata and reporting elements. • Manipulate large data sets using SQL to understand patterns in the data. • Perform data profiling using various tools to learn the shape of the data to help inform data quality checks and/or curation rules that need to be developed. • Partner with customers in interpreting data and remediating issues when required. • Collaborate with data owners, stewards to implement, maintain, enhance data governance, quality, security and privacy requirements, and related policies and standards. • Prepare technical specifications for data ingestion and transformation rules. • Partner with data architects to build data models for efficient consumption of data. • Support the development of standards and best practices within the Data Analysis team, this includes documentation templates and agile development methodologies.
Job Requirements
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field of study
- 5+ years of relevant experience gathering and documenting requirements as well as technical specifications for data solutions
- Advanced SQL scripting skills
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Experience with AWS platform and tools associated with analytics and data (S3, Redshift, Glue)
- Understanding of Snowflake platform a plus
- Data governance and metadata management experience (standards, format, definition, structure, tagging, transmission, manipulation, use and management of data)
- Understanding of Monte Carlo and Atlan a plus
- Experience in integrated marketing, digital agency, marketing services, or consulting environments preferred.

Job Summary: The Health Partner Incentive Analyst III is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial and clinical data related to health partner incentive programs. Essential Functions: - Prepare and review integrated reporting on health partner incentive programs for providers and management on a timely and accurate basis - Develop, enhance, and maintain internal dashboards pertaining to Alternative Payment Model (APM) performance - Identify trends, develop competitive analysis, and present findings to senior management - Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal analysis processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization - Ensure contract implementation and maintenance accurately reflect corporate APM program definitions - Monitor and track implementation of new health partner payment/incentive programs for reporting and measurement - Provide recommendations on program enhancements supported by research and analysis - Assist with the management of development efforts for incentive application - Conduct/review complex user acceptance testing for incentive application development and attribution development - Develop SOPs related to health partner payment/incentive configuration and maintenance across multiple functional areas - Conduct post implementation audits to ensure accurate implementation; analyze data to identify and resolve any internal errors - Conduct process gap analysis and implement appropriate solutions - Ensure that documentation is accurately maintained for tracking health partners and their respective incentive program specifics - Conduct/review member attribution analysis to align with population management efforts - Collect and process supplemental data pertaining to APM programs - Assist in data reconciliation pertaining to APM programs - Partner with internal stakeholders for analytic assessment and delivery of reporting - Perform any other job-related instructions as requested Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is preferred - Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience is required - Minimum of one (1) year of Managed Care or Healthcare experience is preferred Competencies, Knowledge and Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint - Knowledge of SQL, SAS or other relational database software and/or business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred - Ability to lead and provide subject matter expertise - Wide degree of creativity and latitude (independent judgement) is required - Ability to formulate recommendations and take action based on analyses - Skilled in a variety of analysis concepts, practices and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills - Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism - Ability to effectively interact with all levels of leadership - Effective listening and critical thinking skills - Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently and within a team - Ability to create and maintain excellent working relationships - Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals Licensure and Certification: - To help protect our employees, members, and the communities we serve from acquiring communicable diseases, Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position.
