Role Description This is a starting position – we are looking for a Junior Service Desk Administrator. The purpose of the job is to provide the best possible user experience for our employees and the best possible service for our clients. - Support systems and users in their daily work. - Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of user computers and servers in the domain of the department (mainly Microsoft). - Manage and take care of the updating of the IT asset register (asset management). - Administration of all technologies that are in the domain of the department (VMware virtual machines, Hyper-V, PDQ, SCCM, Active Directory, O365). - Participate in IT initiatives. - Work on development of work procedures and the development of custom solutions. Qualifications - Professional curiosity. - Client-oriented attitude. - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team. - Excellent knowledge of the system services of the Microsoft environment. - Knowledge of digital technology (Windows server 2016/2019, VMWare, Hyper-V, AD, DNS, GPO, SCCM, O365, PowerShell). - Knowledge of spoken and written English. - Analytic skills in problem solving approach. - Good organizational skills. - Desire for constant learning and work in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment. - High degree of responsibility, initiative, and energy. - Driving license. Requirements - Any knowledge of technology outside the specialist domain is highly valued. - Desire to test new and innovative solutions through the application of open-source technologies is desirable.
