Reporting to the Manager of Forecasting and Analytics, and partnering closely with Sales, Production, and Marketing, this position will create and maintain tools that optimize the forecasting process for the Sales organization. They will oversee the sales forecast by analyzing the past and predicting future trends for the business. Employees in this position may interact with their leader as needed to receive guidance and feedback. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and maintain data designed to trend and track application and volume trends to ensure high risk business is identified. - Communication with sales organization to support corporate objectives. - Utilize IRI, EYC along with other available databases to predict future trends and volume projections - Assist in creating a monthly forecast that meets expected demand and gives production ample time to meet it. - Serve as subject matter expert in regards to consumption and shipment data - Autonomously manage concurrent projects of varying importance, urgency, and impact with ability to adjust priorities based on opportunities/needs. - Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role. BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) - Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university or 2 years' experience in the CPG field. - High level of comfort with computer systems and the ability to quickly learn how to operate IFG specific systems, i.e. Blue Planner, BI, etc. - Ability to read, analyze and interpret industry data (Circana, 8451, Scintilla, etc.). - Ability to communicate and work effectively across functional groups. - Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into operational tactics. - Expertise in Microsoft Windows Office Suite applications. - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. - Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs. - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of college algebra. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. - Ability to activate and amplify the company values; and demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking and emotional intelligence.
