• Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards. • Report bugs and issues to the development team, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce the problem. • Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities. • Document test cases, test results, and defects to support development and maintenance. • Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and testing. • Conduct performance testing to ensure the software meets performance criteria and benchmarks. • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and techniques and implement improvements in the testing process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Tester or similar role.
- Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins), scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python), and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
